This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supply and/or service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VTJ50103AC01. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill AFB, Florida, requires the following:
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Portable Suitcase Satellite Systems to include the following:
CLIN 0001 Suitcase CCT120 Terminal Package (17 Each)
CLIN 0002 Spares Kit Ku and X Band Operator Level (17 Each)
CLIN 0003 CCT120 Power Supply (5 Each)

Salient characteristics of the product:


-Terminal will be of modular design capable of being configured in Ku or X band.


-Minimum reconfiguration time between bands will be less than 3 minutes.


-Will have an Auto Acquire Capability.

BASIS FOR AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest price offeror that is determined to be technically acceptable.


This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. Any Or Equal proposal received will be sent to the technical advisor for compatibility or functionality. Award will be made to the quotation which offers the best value to the government. Multiple awards may be accomplished if any items are determined to be unbalanced. The Government also reserves the right to make no award at all.
