The United States Government (USG), through the U.S. Agency for International Development in Mozambique (USAID/Mozambique), will be implementing the Coastal City Adaptation Program (CCAP) in Mozambique. CCAP will invest in and work with host-country government systems, local nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and Universities to ensure that climate change adaptation measures are developed and implemented in the vulnerable coastal cities identified.

This project will demonstrate the Agency's commitment to build partner country capacity by directly training and supporting local institutions, and strengthening their abilities to deal with current and future weather-related impacts as a result of climate change.
