The Agency for International Development (USAID) in Mozambique intends to negotiate and award one or more firm-fixed price contracts to construct up to 3 Regional Warehouses in Mozambique.

This procurement is being solicited using full and open competition procedures.

 The magnitude of the construction project is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 for each Warehouse.

 The primary body of rules and regulations that will government the procurement process are the Federal Acquisition Regulations, subparts 13, 15 and 36. 

 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 and the small business size standards is $33.5.0 million.

 The contractor is required to begin performance 15 calendar days after award. 

 Bid and performance bonds will be required. 

 The place of performance will in the provinces of Maputo, Nampula and Sofala, Mozambique.

 Offerors are deemed to have conducted a site visit prior to submission of the proposal.   All costs associated with any site visit will be the responsibility of the interested party.  A point of contact will be provided in the solicitation for coordination of any planned site visit. 

In order to consider for award, the offeror must be legally registered in Mozambique at the time of proposal submission and possesses a valid Class VII license to construct these rural health centers or similar structures.
