USAID/Mexico is launching a new program (3-year base period and two 1-year option periods) entitled "Supporting Improved Economic Governance in Mexico" (MCP II). MCP II's development hypothesis is that USAID support for Mexican-led efforts to strengthen economic governance will help Mexico progress in its transition from an efficiency-driven economy as defined by the World Economic Forum to one based on innovation.
