The overall goal of the project is to reduce trafficking in person in Nepal.  The key development hypothesis of the project is: If USAID raises awareness of TIP among the vulnerable population through creation of local groups and providing information, supports the Government of Nepal in strengthening the policy framework and implementation of the existing guidelines and policies, and builds the capacities of the law enforcing entities to support TIP victims to pursue their cases in courts and other judicial bodies, the incidence of TIP will be reduced and the services to TIP victims will improve.
