The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, is seeking qualified contractors to install/relocate a runway Glide Slope (GS) facility and relocate an existing electrical transformer at the Cordova Municipal Airport in Cordova, Alaska.



This is a small business set-aside. Small businesses competing for this project must certify their status on the Business Declaration form inserted following Part IV, Section K. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $33.5 million. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.



The dimensions, measurements, and quantity of materials listed in the specifications and on the construction drawings are estimated and are presented to give the contractor an idea of the scope of work. See Section C - Scope of Work, drawings, and specifications for additional requirements.



All work must be completed within 14 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP is expected to be issued within 3 weeks after the notice of contract award, or as arranged by the FAA Project Engineer.



Contractors who desire an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must submit their request via email to Cindi Tjelde at cindi.tjelde@faa.gov.



QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST FIVE (5) DAYS PRIOR TO THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.



OFFERS ARE DUE BY 4:00 P.M. (PACIFIC TIME) ON MONDAY, JUNE 23, 2014. Offers may be submitted by email, fax, thumb drive, or CD.



Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and certified Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) 8(a) contractors are encouraged to submit an offer for this project.
