                   CENTER EXTERMINATOR SERVICES


 


The Oneonta Job Corps Academy (OJCA) and Education & Training Resources (ETR); located at 21 Homer Folks Avenue, Oneonta, N.Y. 13820, 607-433-2111, are desirous of a licensed, and fully insured subcontractor to submit a bid on the federally funded project mentioned herein; and if successfully awarded the subject contract, to satisfactorily perform the following work project according to the established criteria contained within same. Potential bidders must have or obtain a Dunn & Bradstreet (DUNS) number to be awarded a federal contract. Potential bidders must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before being awarded a federal contract. Final bids are due to this center, not later than 16 June 2011 at 4:00 PM.              Scope of Work


 The center Exterminator Services provider, referred to henceforth as the Subcontractor, agrees to provide the Oneonta Job Corps Academy, referred to henceforth as the center, with the services stated herein. Services will be provided as authorized by the OJCA Administrative Services Director or his/her representative. Remuneration for services rendered will be at the fee-for-services price. The period of performance for this subcontract will be from 1 July 2011 through 31May 2012. Services will be provided on a previously scheduled basis. *There will be a onetime opportunity to tour the work site on 13 June 2011 at 10:00 am EST. All parties are to wait in the lobby of the Administrative building (Bldg. #1) to start the tour. A representative from the Facility Maintenance Department will conduct the tour. *There will be no other opportunities available to tour the job site.


Successful vendor will provide services as detailed herein and according to the previously agreed upon schedule of services provided by the center as follows:



  • Subcontractor will provide exterminator services as agreed upon herein to prevent the following pest species (occasional invaders) from infesting the center premises: rats, mice, all species of roaches, pavement ants, earwigs, silver fish, and spiders   

  • Subcontractor will deploy chemical solvent (Power Spray Treatment) to prevent the emergence of earwigs into Building #6 (Maya Angelou Dormitory) at a rate of 2 times per contract year (April & October)

  • Subcontractor will provide real-time on-line tracking of provided service with printable service ticket history for services performed

  •  Subcontractor will replace the lamps in each of the 4 existing flying insect light traps, clean and check performance of the electrical grid for each unit, as well as clean the contaminant trays for each at a rate of 2 times per contract year

  • Subcontractor will spray for the previously identified occasional invaders once per month per the service locations and Service Specifications contained herein

  •  Subcontractor will provide for "Bed Bug Control" contained herein on a monthly and as needed basis to include Bed Bug Control in the form of inspection, monitoring, and treatment of 15 rooms per month (to be determined by the center/ETR)
