The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intends to issue a solicitation for two (2) types of .40 Caliber Ammunition. This solicitation will be issued on a full and open competitive basis, and will contain requirements for the following types of ammunition: 155 S&W .40 Caliber Duty Purpose AND 180 S&W .40 Caliber Duty Purpose



ICE intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts as a result of this solicitation.



All contractors submitting a response to the solicitation will be required to submit 6,000 rounds of each type of ammunition for qualification testing. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is 01 May 2008.

It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for the release of the solicitation and amendments. Contractors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. All Contractors submitting a quotation are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award (www.ccr.gov).

Please note that the award amount is the total amount of the base year and four option years, based on the maximum quantity of 75,000,000 rounds per year (375,000,000 total maximum quantity).
