The U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID's) Bureau for Global Health intends to award a purchase order to Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA) for meeting and exhibit space, audio-visual support and food at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC under the authority of the FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall provide conference space, exhibit space, food and audio-visual support between July 28-31, 2013 for USAID's Development XChange for up to 150 of attendees plus exhibitors.
Every year 350,000 mothers and 4 million children die during childbirth leading to the creation of the Grand Challenge for Development: Saving Lives at Birth. This is the third round of the challenge. By bringing together leading innovators, development experts, and potential funders, the Development XChange encourages an interactive setting to help meet this developmental challenge.
