THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT AND IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition Management (FA) is seeking information from firms that are capable of providing the following services in support of the Mobile Incineration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 562213 with a size standard of $6 Million Dollars.
The work to be performed is in support of Government Owned Equipment. One mobile unit is currently located in El Paso, TX and the other mobile unit is currently located in Laredo, TX. The work required would consist of: operating and maintaining a continuous process incineration system, including automated control and data monitoring systems; conducting laboratory analysis of waste, water samples; expertly repairing a continuous process incineration system, including automated control and data monitoring systems; providing certified laboratory operator personnel and engineering support in order to operate two, and up to three incineration sites simultaneously; conducting expert liaison with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and public officials regarding all matters including the incinerator construction, operation, maintenance, and emissions controls. In addition, the respondent must provide a safety record (and any incident reports) and environmental c! ompliance record relative to incineration plants that the respondent and proposed project staff have operated; and must document the types and models of incineration plants that potential project personnel are certified to operate.
This is NOT a notice of solicitation issuance, but rather, a request for information from industry that will allow the Government to identify interested sources potentially capable of meeting the requirement. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal (RFP) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the Government as a result of information submitted in response to this RFI. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. Interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement not more than five (5) pages in length that: 1) demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the requirement as specified herein, 2) company name and address, point of contact wit! h phone number, the business size, DUNS number, verification of active registration in Central Contractor Registration, 3) a list of past performance references of the company which include: contract number, description of services provided, period of performance, and dollar amount; and 5) any other pertinent information related to the requirement. All proprietary or corporate data received shall be clearly identified and shall be protected from release to sources outside the Government. Responses shall be submitted electronically (Microsoft Word for Office 2000 compatible format or PDF) or other written document. Failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future associated RFP that may be issued. If a solicitation is issued, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: www.fedbizopps.gov.
