DARPA will host a Proposers' Day Conference in support of the DARPA-BAA-12-65, Laser Radar Technology (LRT) program on October 9, 2012 at DARPA Conference Center, Room 01-200, 675 N. Randolph Street, Arlington, VA 22203 from 0815 to 1600 EDT. The purpose of this conference is to provide information on the LRT program; promote additional discussion on this topic; address questions from potential proposers; and provide a forum for potential proposers to present their capabilities for teaming opportunities. See attached DARPA-BAA-12-65 Proposers' Day file for details on registering for the conference.

DARPA is soliciting innovative research proposals in the area of laser and detector development in support of advanced laser radar systems. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. See attached DARPA-BAA-12-65 for solicitation details.
