For the purposes of this presolicitation notice, Mi-17 variant helicopter is defined as either a Mi-17V5 or Mi-171/172 helicopter with tail ramp. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) FAR Part 12 contract to the responsible offeror who provides the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. All aircraft shall be delivered to Kabul International Airport, Kabul, Afghanistan on a staggered delivery schedule with the last aircraft being delivered no later than 720 days after contract award. Complete details will be available in the solicitation.

This presolicitation notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not intended to be taken as such. Information including the Statement of Work and attachments shall be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation number N00019-10-R-0032.
