DARPA is soliciting innovative research proposals for the MAD-FIRES program. The objective of the program is to develop and demonstrate advances in guided projectile technologies. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. Key aspects of the MAD-FIRES program are classified. Only proposals addressing the classified aspects of MAD-FIRES will be eligible for funding under this BAA. Refer to the attachment, "DARPA-BAA-14-45 - MAD-FIRES," for complete details of the BAA.
