**please see full RFI for more information** *ONLY VENDORS WITH HCAPHS CERTIFICATION CAN SUBMIT AND MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF CERTIFICATION* The Defense Health Agency (DHA)/Defense Health Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (DHCAPE) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as a means of conducting market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified vendors interested and capable of performing the work.
DHCAPE is seeking information from companies who are HCAHPS certified and have the capability and experience to provide services to administer, score, evaluate, analyze, archive data files and report the results of a large scale multi-mode survey focusing on Military Health System (MHS) beneficiary satisfaction with their inpatient health care services world-wide. The total number of TRISS surveys to be fielded will be 195,000 per year. In support of transparency efforts and to be able to benchmark performance against non-MHS health care, the DHA uses a variant of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey for the recently discharged inpatient population. The HCAHPS survey administration protocols are designed to produce standardized information about patients' perspectives of care that allows objective and meaningful comparisons of hospitals on topics that are important to consumers. Therefore, under this RFI, it is essential that DHCAPE use HCAHPS certified Survey Vendor.
