The contractor shall 1) Provide qualified personnel to review historical and current data and explain in layman terms the health impact from the BOMARC Missile Accident Site on residents living within a 10-mile radius of the site; 2) Explain the difference of health impact had the Air Force used 10-6 standard to clean up the site versus the current standard of 10-4 that is used by the Air Force and approved by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection; 3) Provide draft and final reports for distribution to McGuire Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) members; and 4) Make a presentation of the efforts and results to the McGuire RAB. History: In Jun 1960 there was a missile accident at the BOMARC Facility. This facility occupies approximately 218 acres just east of Ocean County Route 539 in Plumsted County Township. The technical service would provide an explanation on the difference of health impact had the Air Force used 10-6 standard to clean up the site versus the current standard of 10-4 that is used by the Air Force and approved by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The contractor shall be a Board Certified Health Physicist or a Board Certified Toxicologist who has the technical skills to perform the tasks described above. This solicitation is a request for quotation and is issued as 100% Small Business Set Aside under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 8999, NAICS code is 541690 and the related small business size standard is $6.0 million. Period of Performance is from 1 Oct 03 to 31 Mar 04. The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000.00. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in CCR at the time of award.
