The Expeditionary Warfare Innovations Branch OPNAV N95I formally opens a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Confronting Expeditionary Warfare Capability Challenges.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Manager for Advanced Submarine Systems Development Program Office (SEA 073) within the Program Executive Office for Submarines (PEOSUB) is the supporting unit.  SEA 073 is a non-acquisition program that develops and matures technologies for successful integration into future and modernized submarine classes. The Expeditionary Warfare Innovations Branch, N95I is seeking efforts for identification of technologies that enhance and accelerate military capabilities to confront expeditionary warfare capability challenges by meeting urgent/emergent operational needs across the Navy.  White papers will now be accepted in response to this formal issuance of the BAA for Confronting Expeditionary Warfare Capabilities Challenge.  This notice shall not be construed as a promise to contract or commitment of any kind. The Government may or may not award a contract resulting from this BAA. UNCLASSIFIED electronic mail questions regarding the submission of white papers and attached BAA documents should be directed to the Techincal Specialist, Mr. Adam Outlaw at adam.outlaw@navy.mil and to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Brad Watson at john.b.watson1@navy.mil. The Contracting Officer for this BAA is Ms. Debra Mackall at debra.mackall@navy.mil.  The Government is also posting the questions and answers as a result of the Industry Day held on 25 June 2013.   White papers will be accepted during normal office hours over the next year ending on 31 July 2014.
