This category of tools encompasses data exploration with visualization, dashboards, and includes data mining features to uncover hidden patterns and relationships. These data analytics tools shall have the ability to output data in popular formats and integrate with other commonly used applications. The tools shall allow users to monitor, analyze, and drill to details.

Contractors may offer integrated product suites that include query tools, dashboards and reporting software.
