The Government requires all-weather clothing to be utilized by field personnel. The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency’s primary mission is to reduce the loss of life and property and protect the Nation from all hazards, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other manmade disasters, by leading and supporting the Nation in a risk-based, comprehensive emergency management system of preparedness, protection, response, recovery, and mitigation.


The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Joint Field Office DR-1829-ND requires all-weather insignia clothing for field personnel.

- This solicitation does not use any American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding.

- The Berry Amendment is not applicable to this solicitation.


Questions and Answers 

Q: What is the size of the logo and lettering to be for the FEMA logo on the Left Breast?

A: The entire Logo (inlcuding Seal and lettering) is 4.25" tall x 3.25" wide.  The Seal is 3"x3".  There is a .5" vertical seperation between the Seal and the Lettering.  The lettering is .75" tall x 3.25" wide.

Q: What will the payment terms be on this project?

A: Payment terms are Net 30, via Purchase Order.

Q: If certain jackets have long lead times of obtaining or are out of stock, can a substitute be made in lieu of original product?

 A: The Solicitation is Brand Name or Equal, so substitutes are allowed.
