Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Small Business Competition and Coordination Unit in coordination with the Information Technology Contracts Unit will be hosting an Industry Forum for Small Businesses.

The purpose of the event will be to discuss and initiate feedback on an upcoming requirement to recompete an Information Technology Refresh Program (formally TRP now known as Prevention of Information Technology Obsolescence) on existing information technology equipment deployed in FBI Headquarters and Field Offices.  The equipment and services to be purchased falls within the following areas:

1. Workstations/Desktops
2. Laptops
3. Printers/Scanners
4. Servers
5. Network Storage
6. Backup/Recovery
7. Other IT related equipment
8. Asset Recovery

The vendor must be able to provide support services to assist the government with obtaining extended maintenance, maintaining accountable property, and processing orders for equipment.

This event is for Small Businesses only.  Small Business status will be confirmed in the System for Award Management.

Time: The event will take place on February 12, 2013 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm eastern standard time.

Presentations will be made by the Workspace Support Unit, Information Technology Contracting Unit, Security, The Small Business Competition and Coordination Unit and the DOJ OSDBU.

Questions are encouraged; however, the Government may not be able to resepond to all specific questions or comments at the forum.

Registration is required.  Please complete the attached registration form and return to Shakia.gilchrist@ic.fbi.gov by close of busines February 4, 2013.  Walk-ins will not be permitted to attend.  Due to security regulations, you must arrive 30 minutese in advance for check in and to be escorted to the conference room. ESCORTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AFTER 1:00PM. Please be on time. The doors will close promptly at 1:00pm.  Registration limited to two (2) representatives per company.
