The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), in cooperation with the Office of the Chief Information Officer and the Common Vetting Task Force (CVTF) , is interested in Big Data technologies that enable and enhance homeland security missions and operations. Commercial support for open source storage and analytics offer potential improvements to data driven business models for homeland security. We are seeking additional information from industry to assist with the identification of transformational opportunities to improve mission and achieve operational efficiencies and lower costs through advanced analytic automation for DHS and the Homeland Security Enterprise (HSE).
