THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO OFFERORS THAT HAVE A NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH (NIH) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACQUISITION AND ASSESSMENT CENTER'S (NITAAC) CIO-SP2i CONTRACT.



THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE FUNDED VIA THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.



The scope of this requirement is to develop use cases for interoperability based upon business scenarios and functional requirements, which can be leveraged to identify necessary standards and interoperability specifications to achieve increased levels of interoperability across the nation in health IT. The contractor will be required to convene a group of appropriate stakeholders and participants to develop and execute processes, which will support the development of business and system use cases and prioritization; as well as develop of functional requirements using the Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) process.



The estimated period of performance of this requirement is March 31, 2010 through March 30, 2012.
