1.1 The Defense Health Clinical Systems (DHCS) Program Executive Office (PEO), within the Health Information Technology (HIT) directorate of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking information on off-the-shelf (OTS) Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Real User Monitoring (RUM) products for web-browser based, thin client and mobile applications. The objectives are to:
• Identify potential OTS solutions for measuring and reporting actual user experience application response times for MHS centrally-managed healthcare applications
• Understand the key features and benefits of available product offerings
• Better estimate costs for enterprise implementation of a thin client and mobile application RUM capability.
• Understand how these RUM solutions can integrate with existing end-to-end (E2E) performance measurement data collection and reporting.
1.2 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred by parties responding to this RFI. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. Potential offerors bear the responsibility to monitor this site for additional information on this requirement.
