The Hotel Marriott rooms services contract in question was used simultaneously with the Hotel Hilton (which was the main hotel for the event) to support POTUS PRAGUE 2010 (signing of a nuclear arms treaty between the US and Russian Presidents in Prague, Czech Republic).  The extremely short 14-day notice of this VIP visit meant we had to go directly for the two contracts as permitted by Unusual and Compelling Urgency statutory authority (FAR 6.302-2).  The Hotel Marriott was selected because of its experience with large VIP vistits, sufficient size, and its proximity to the Hotel Hilton.
