Exit Lane Breach Control (ELBC) Pilot Project

The Transportation Security Administration seeks to acquire equipment and services for turn key exit lane breach control (ELBC) technologies at two US airports; Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

The work under the contract may include, but not limited to design of an ELBC solution, purchase and delivery of equipment, site preparation, integration, unit testing, maintenance, and training. The equipment shall be composed of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and Non-Development Item (NDI) hardware and software to the maximum extent practicable. The duration of the project is anticipated to be 18 months and expect award date is November 2008.

An Industry Days will be held for each airport. The first will be held on June 2, 2009 at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport DFW, 3200 East Airfield Drive, DFW Airport, TX 75261 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and the second on June 4, 2009 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), 17801 International Blvd. (Pacific Highway S.) Seattle, WA 98158 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please submit questions and the names of attendees by May 28, 2009 to michael.cabero@dhs.gov Due to space restrictions we request you limit attendance to two people per company.
