This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition of aircraft corrosion prevention cleaning, lavatory services. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools materials and supervision necessary to perform services on aircraft at March Air Reserve Base, California. A firm fixed price and firm fixed price requirements contract with a one year basic period and 4 one-year options is contemplated with an anticipated award date of 15 September 2011. The government will evaluate offers in accordance with FAR part 15. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose proposal conforming to the solicitation represents the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. This competitive acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 488190 with a size standard of $7M. Per AFFARS 5352.201-9101: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
