The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/ Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has a requirement for Sig Sauer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) weapons parts (brand name) under the authority of FAR 6-302-1 and invites SIG SAUER AND ALL ITS AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS to submit a proposal in accordance with the attached Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA).

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached BOA as prescribed in FAR 16.703. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being sought.

Solicitation Number HSCEMS-13-R-00006 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure Sig Sauer weapons parts identified in the attached BOA.

The NAICS code is 332994 (Small Arms Manufacturing) and the size standard is 1,000 employees.

Content and Instructions for Proposal Submission:

Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the attached BOA and are due on
March 21, 2013 no later than 4:00 pm EST. All questions concerning this combined synopsis/solicitation must be directed in writing via email to Rachel Harriott at no later than March 14, 2013 @ 4:00 pm EST. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone. The distribution of any resulting amendments to the solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available; therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this RFP.
