This Request for Information (RFI) from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office (DSO) seeks ideas, methodologies, and approaches solely for information and planning purposes. Responses to this RFI may be used to support a potential new DARPA program to enable novel therapies for mitigating the effects of ionizing radiation exposure in military or civilian personnel in the aftermath of a large-scale release of nuclear material that may result from either a natural disaster or deliberate attack.
