Hanscom Air Force Base is hosting a Small Business event at the Marriot Courtyard on March 6th located in Newton, Massachusetts (2345 Commonwealth Ave). The Event will start at 1:00EST with a 1-hour panel discussion surrounding "Small Business Focus in Today's Environment" the panel will be comprised of Senior Leaders from AFLCMC C3I&N and Battle Management Directorates, Senior Contracting Leadership and Small Business Administration Representatives. The panel discussion will comprise of opening remarks followed by Questions & Answers from audience participants. Due to limited seating, companies must limit attendance to no more than 2-3 representatives per company. The panel discussion will be video recorded, to be provided on FedBizOpps at a later date.

After the Panel Discussion, a "Reverse Matchmaking" Session will start at 2:10EST. Small Businesses will be able to present a 10 minute briefing to representatives from the Program Executive Office (PEO) C3I&N and PEO Battle Management directorates. The C3I&N and Battle Management portfolios provide many opportunities for small businesses. The desired theme for your presentation should focus around providing an example of an innovative solution to a problem that you solved and how it could apply to opportunities within the Battle Management and C3I&N portfolios. Or, an alternate theme to your presentation can focus on new business model(s) for data center convergence and migration of applications to this commoditized infrastructure. For Example, the C3I&N portfolio includes many opportunities in the areas of: AFNET transmission, gateways, routers, and firewalls both hardware and software; middleware, and common services; and Cyber/Cryptologic tools and capabilities. Your presentation is required to be focused upon one of these themes. The briefings are set to start at 2:10EST and conclude at 6:00EST.

Due to time limitations, the first 20 Small Business requests that are received and verified as Small Businesses under the applicable NAICS codes will be eligible to provide a 10 minute brief.
