SFB-021a-Support and Operations Building Tenant Improvement-Electrical
Haleakalā, Maui, Hawai'i

The Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc. (AURA), on behalf of the National Solar Observatory, is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from contractors licensed in the State of Hawai‘i specializing in final equipment identification and installation of Tenant Improvement Electrical Power. The associated equipment supporting power distribution is in support of the Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST) Project. This installation and distribution of electrical power will be from the ATST Utility Building through a utility services tunnel to and throughout the ATST Support & Operations Building. The scope of this work includes all labor, materials, and equipment required to install, distribute, configure and operationally test electrical power services, including normal generator-backed and UPS-backed power, fire alarm and security access control, lighting and communications.


This effort is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Public Law 111-5) and the requirements set forth at 2 CFR Part 176, "Award Terms for Assistance Agreements that include funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Public Law 111-5," shall be applied.
