DARPA is soliciting innovative research proposals for ground-based, passive, wide bandwidth, multi-aperture imaging of objects in Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO). The program will conclude with a demonstration consisting of a single or multi-evening campaign of data collection followed by image recovery to deliver (an) image(s) of one (or more) GEO objects, with spatial resolution of 10 cm (2.5 nrad angular resolution) and an object image quality equivalent to that of National Imagery Interpretability Rating Scale (NIIRS) 8 or better. Program "Pillars" and metrics that define performance expectations for both individual component technologies and overall system performance are provided in the solicitation.
