This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice and file attachments. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Proceedures (SAP), Acquisition of Commercial Items, and is a small business set-aside. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541430. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has a requirement for three , six minutes and thirty seconds to seven-minutes and thirty second motion comic episodes designed to educate young people about HIV/STI that can be viewed on a variety of internet-capable platforms including the desktop computers, laptop computers, video gaming systems (e.g. PS3, XBOX), wireless phones and tablet computers (e.g. iPad, Xoom, Galaxy). The quotation shall include the itemized price per deliverable, prompt payment terms, F.O.B. (destination or origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Duns & Bradstreet Number (Duns), and a descriptive literature of the items quoted. The delivery location will be 8 Corporate Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30329. Inquiries should be submitted in writing to the issuing office. Any additions, deletions, or changes to the Request for Quote will be made by an amendment. OFFERORS ARE INSTRUCTED SPECIFICALLY TO CONTACT ONLY THE CONTRACTING OFFICE IN CONNECTION WITH ANY ASPECT OF THIS REQUIREMENT PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD. QUOTES AND ALL CORRESPONDENCE RELATING TO THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICE. Inquiries should be received at the Contracting Office no later than July 12, 2011, via e-mail to Phone calls will not be accepted. Quotations will be due no later than the 4:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time, on July 21 2011. Written quotations must be submitted by email, Faxed quotations will not be accepted. Quotations must be signed by an authorized company representative. Award will be made in accordance with the evaluation criteria. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registry (CCR) prior to award of a Federal Contract.
