NPS is in need of original, subject-appropriate game content and game generation tools. Games should have international and cross-cultural appeal, and must be deployable and maintainable within the constraints of our existing infrastructure, or with minimal investment in additional infrastructure.

Games must have relevance to the problems of combating terrorism or ideological conflict/competition. Styles of play are wide-open: the NPS is interested in everything from asynchronous play board games to real-time strategy and/or virtual environment styles (however, see the notes on the target client environment).

Some illustrative but not exclusive examples of topics for desired games:

• Terrorist ideologies and counter-ideology strategies

• Terrorist financing and counter-finance

• Insurgency mobilization and counter-mobilization

• Special Operations and counterterrorism military operations

• Other topics are welcome

See attached RFI for game deployment environment, background, and submission guidelines.
